The second reminder is the stainless steel sculpture
of the Lucas Lion , Wheel, and Flambear trademark
commissioned by The Midland Area Housing Association
Situated on the wall of 36 Wheeler Street
These are all that are left to remind anyone that a factory
here once employed over 7,000 people
I would like once again to congratulate Roger, on his
collectionof photos, and thank him for allowing us to
use the photo on the site.
I would also like to thank him for all his help making sure I
have put everything in the right place
